Biography
Dr. Huang has extensive research experience in gene regulation in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Huang conducted his research as a faculty for more than 7 years after he received his training in Prof. Da-Zhi Wang’s lab at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Huang’s work is well recognized in the scientific community with more than 25 papers published in high impact journals, such as J Clin Invest, Circulation and Cir Res., including 4 ESI Highly Cited Papers. His papers have been cited for more than 1200 times. Dr. Huang has presented his works in prestigious international cardiovascular meetings, including an oral presentation in Weinstein meeting on Cardiovascular Development 2015, and received his New Investigator Travel Award in Basic Cardiovascular Sciences 2014 Scientific Sessions. Dr. Huang also served as an abstract reviewer for American Heart Association Scientific Sessions. Dr. Huang has been the recipient of Postdoctoral Fellowship Award and Scientist Developmental Grant Award from American Heart Association, Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award form United States National Institutes of Health, and Hundred Talents Program Award from Sun Yat-sen University with a total research funding over 7 million Chinese Yuan.
