Biography

Professor Li has worked on rhinology research for 14 years since his PhD study. His research interests focus on the pathogenesis of the nasal mucosal inflammation, especially the roles and functions of epithelium in the upper airway inflammation. He has also studied the epidemiology, evaluation of the therapeutic effect as well as the underlying biomarkers for allergic rhinitis. Prof. Li has published 24 SCI papers (total impact factor:127) and 12 papers with first authorship (total impact factor: 64), including the two papers published in the top journal of the allergy and rhinology field “J Allergy Clin Immunol” (IF: 12.48), and other reputable journals like Thorax (IF: 8.12) and Allergy (IF: 6.34).
