Biography

Professor Huang M.D., Ph.D., is the standing director of Society of Immunology of Guangdong province, member of Chinese Society of Immunology, member of Chinese Society of Microbiology and member of Chinese Society of Cell Biology. From 2001 to 2002 Professor Junqi Huang worked in Canadian British Columbia Research Institute (BCRI) for children’s and women’s health as a visiting scientist.

Her research interests are in area of inflammation, transplantation and immunity. She was devoted to the study of the mechanism of viral infection and inflammatory demyelinating diseases, the roles and immune tolerance strategy of immune-related molecules to promote biological materials the clinical application. She have gotten more than 15 grants including 3 grants from National Natural Science Foundation, 1 Important project of Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province of China and 8 grants from Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
