Biography

Dr Wang has a lot expertise in the field of liver and kidney transplant surgery, also liver and hepatic duct tumors, hepatolithiasis, pancreatic surgery as well as portal vein hypotension surgery. He is able to conduct liver transplant and kidney transplant operations, including the recipient and donor procedure independently. He has been participating in more than 300 cases of clinical organ transplantation, including liver transplantation and kidney transplantation, and series of combined liver and kidney transplantation, combined kidney and pancreas transplantation and multiple organ transplantation. Finishing more than 30 academic papers publicly, participating in several research projects, which are sponsored by national natural science foundation, Ministry of Education or Ministry of Health.

Due to the contribution in the field of organ donation and liver transplantation, Dr Wang has been awarded the first prize of the Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award.
