Biography

Dr.Sheng Puyi is the vice director of the department of Orthopaedic surgery and the vice director of the department of joint surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, and professor of Sun Yat-sen University. 

Dr.Sheng Puyi has been an orthopaedic surgeon for over 20 years. He focuses on primary and revision arthroplasties (including hip, knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle and wrist arthroplasties). He is also familiar with all kinds of trauma around joints. He has 4 years of working experiences in Coxa, Hospital for Joint Replacement in Tampere, Finland. He has also visited Nagoya University in Japan to learn eccentric rotational acetabular osteotomy (ERAO). His clinical and research interests include the treatment and prevention of prosthesis loosening/infection as well as the treatment of DDH. He has tutored 13 MSc or PhD student majored in orthopaedic surgery by 2017.
