Graduated from Zhongshan Medical University (now as SYSU) in 1996 received doctorate of Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Wan Yong has been engaged in orthopedic clinical work for more than 20 years, mainly focused on spine surgery. He has a wealth of experience in the three-dimensional correction treatment for scoliosis and other kind of spine deformities, treatment of neck and shoulder pain, low back pain and lumbar spondylolisthesis. He specializes in the surgical treatment of primary and metastatic spinal tumors and accumulated a large number of clinical cases. His research direction is mainly about spine surgery and spinal cord injury. 

He is now the Vice President of Guangdong Medical Association Spine Surgery Branch and the member of Spinal Cord Injury Professional Committee of Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine. In recent years, he has published a lot of articles on authoritative journals such as Spine, Crit Care Med, Neurochem Res, Brain Res, Clin Orthop Relat Res and J Spinal Disord Tech.
